History
Adder is a Dœmon.He has no mercy. He cares not for anything. He follows his own agenda. He fights on his terms, when he chooses. He has no past. Perhaps he has no future either. He does not love. He has few friends.He is hated and despised by all. His power is matched by few. What he wishes, happens.
He has loved before, true. But he had a soul then. Selena Bloodtide...ahh...poor Selena Bloodtide. Well, He always says "Keep your friends close, and your enemy's closer"
Adders origin is unknown, even to him. He is your typical possession daemon. His axe , the Null Axe, nullify's all magic sent its way.He recieved it when he stepped into another dimension, where the magicians were fighting warriers. To prevent against the magicians, the warriors used weapons that nullified magic. While He was visiting *Otherwise, causing mayham* he happened to save one of the warriers. Accidently. As a token of his esteem, the warrior gave Adder the axe. Then Adder killed the warrior with the axe.
Adder and saidin.Saidin(pronounced sah-ih-DEEN) is one half of a force known as the One Power. The other half, saidar is wielded by females. Saidin has a taint on it, which i am not going into, for sake of space, that will drive any man insane. Adder got his ability to channel saidin, even though weak, from his visit to Shayul Ghul. Adder has the ability to walk dimensions. He stumbled on the dimension that had saidin one time. He did not know what it was, but being in a human body, Colins, he was able to learn to channel, after being submited to extreamly high amounts of the taint from Shayul Ghul. Now, you must understand, Adder is not evil. He does what he feels is best, good or evil. He despises The Dark One. The Dark One, or Shai'tan, is the 'evil god' of this dimension. Adder learned the complex weaves from watching The Forsaken. They did not sense him, no one did. But alas, in a fight with one named Kaelic, Adder was burned out. That is to say, he was cut off from saidin. Until he can find someone that can heal burning out, he goes with out the One Power. But he will not go mad, being non-living of course. And of course he is going to need a mortal body to channel once again. But that is not difficult. For he already has one...but i cannot say who.
Most of his existence, Adder has spent annoying and pissing people off. 5,000 years of his 10,000 or so were spent possessing one mortal Colin. Colin was a very powerful mortal, though Adder did not know at the time. Colin was a very powerful magician, or was destined to be. Adder was a weak daemon at the time. When adder possessed Colin, he could not leave. Colin would not let him.Colin had no reason to. Over time, Adder and Colin became one with each other. Adder continued to attempt to free himself, but could not. It was a constant battle between the two to take the body. Along came Alhana.Alhana seemed Colins salvation. He lied and made his way into Alhana's heart. He now had something to live for and was on the verge of bringing Adder down and defeating him.But at the last moment, Adder regained control, when Alhana said she didn't love him anymore. Colin was destroyed. And all the magic + that Colin had gained over the years,and Colins soul, was gained by The Adder. Colin continues to exist in the form of a shade. Adder lost Colins soul in a fight with Kaelic in which he was ripped from time, litterally and thrown into a vortex.
Adder continued to live in solitude, keeping few friends. Some of which are Simon Hood, Adam Thorne, Neaira Silverthorne, Ranvela Aquathorne, Synic Shadowthorne and Zeriko Crimsonthorne. Perhaps one day Adder might have settled down. If he ever regained sanity. Yes...thats right. The built up Taint on saidin has finaly drivin him mad. With out Selena, he had no purpose. He was driven by the desire to wipe out Vaticus. Kill him, make him pay. But his desire came up short. Adder finally gave up. His life was not a life worth living. As he did this, the flames of baator consumed him, destroying him, utterly, and totally. may he Rest In Peace...
