History: Within the last year Richard has assumed the leadership (Ulfric) of the Thronos Rokke werewolf clan.He teaches biology at a local junior high school. He is a third of a triumvirate comprised of Anita Blake, Jean-Claude, and himself.
He loves Anita Blake Deeply, but To keep her in his life he has had to accept that she will be with both him and Jean-Claude. So if she would not be faithful to him, he would not be faithful to her. He dates other women. Although in the last few months Anita has been apart from both Jean-Claude and Richard, so Richard has refrained from dating.
He has been wrestling with his beast and his humanity. For the last several months he has been Crawling back from the brink of self loathing and destruction. He has healed.
Since he returned to St. Louis he has made sweeping changes as Ulfric. Examples include: the elimination of Tithing,Instead a system has been set up where members contribute to a clan "fund" which helps finance for the were medical center run by Lilian, a retainer to a local legal firm to aid weres in trouble with the law, helping members that lose jobs if discovered, and the like. He has initiated talks with the other were groups, to improve relations and communications. His leadership stresses the humanity existing in all the weres, while accepting their beast.
He has maintained at least a business relationship with Jean-Claude. He extended his friendship and support to all of the Pard who have given aid to him and Anita.
