Alcaine is the largest known city in Tryne. Alcaine is known as the 'all kat city'. Every type of kat is welcome in Alcaine. The city is divided into 12 different Sectors, each for a different type of kat. The city itself in a giant cirlce shape, with each Sector being like a spoke to a wheel.
In the center of Alcaine is a huge building known as the Palace. The Palace is home to the 24 Elders that rule and regulate Alcaine. There are two Elders for each species of kat except for the Old Mystics, one female and one male. All Elders are older, at least a level 6, most higher. They rule everything from disputes to wars to theft. They are the ultimate rule in Alcaine.
Another thing in Alcaine is ale. This substance is new, but it is rapidly spreading throughout Tryne. A clever Valley Kat by the name of Tylis found out that if you let certain fruits or plants ferment that you got a strong substance that had an odd reaction to the body. Now ale is a highly sought after substance. The only place in Alcaine that sells ale at this point is a tavern called the Silver Moon Tavern. The Tavern is now a highly sought after place in which is in the outer center of Alcaine, where most of the inns and markets are.
There are rules to Alcaine. The main rule is that no abilities are allowed to be used. Only in the Palace may abilities be used, and that is only by the kats who live there. The first offense of this rule is having a ward put on the kat and then having their tail removed. The kats of Alcaine are very serious about this rule. The next offense is death. If you don't get caught, you are fine, but guards constantly walk the streets.
Another rule is theft. Theft, if caught, on the first offense, is having your ears cut off. The next offense is your tail with a ward, and the next and last is death. Third time is not the charm in Alcaine. There are of course other rules, most of which are common sense so I won't put on here.
Remember, all kats are welcome in Alcaine. Fights are common and generally ignored as long as there are no abilities used.
