History: Jubei has always had a very close bond with his little sister Silva. His parents were always off "protecting the forest" so for a while, Silva and the trees were his only friends.

Jubei has always liked talking to the trees. They could see for miles and would tell him all about it. Jubei would try to climb up in their branches to see beyond the forest. When he was around 33, he became so curious that he left the forest and went into the nearby city, which happened to be Alcaine. Jubei was so excited that he took Silva with him on his next trip, and continued to do so. Their parents hated these little excursions.

When Jubei was 56, he befriended Haruhiko, a Plains kit who saved his life. His parents killed Haruhiko on sight. Enraged, Jubei left home, and took Silva with him. He had a great interest in archeology, architecture, and the Old Tongue. He studied extensively, inspired by Elessar, a kat he met who was an expert in all of the above. Jubei became very good, despite his youth.

Jubei likes to learn, and loves paws-on activities. He is very protective of Silva, as she means everything in the world to him. He enjoys exploring, but still has a close bond with the trees, and sometimes feels a little heartsick when in a treeless area. He does not, however, allow this to affect his work or his duties.
