-Spells-

Sometimes, sorcerors and mages get out of hand with their spells and abilities, but we still want them to be able to use spells and abilities, in order to expand their role-playing experience.  Because of this, RARE has decided which spells are appropriate, and which are not.  You also need a RARE Reg# for these spells.  To do these spells, you must first register your character.  You then roll 1d25, if what you roll is less than or equal to the number you put down for your magic in the registration form, then the spell is successful.  For example, if you put down that your magic is 12 and you roll 1d25 and get a 10, then the spell is successful, if you get a 14 however, then the spell is not successful.

Rules

-You may only do each spell on a person once a week.

-All RARE members must accept the spell.

-If the spell was part of something important, like an attack or kidnapping, and you believe that the person has done the spell incorrectly, or lied about the amount of magic that they have or so forth, you may submit a log of the incident and your complain to the Lord of Spells.

-Again, to do a spell, if you put down that your magic is 12 and you roll 1d25 and get a 10, then the spell is successful, if you get a 14 however, then the spell is not successful

-You may attempt to block the spell, if the person was successful with the spell, then you may roll 1d25 and if you get the less than or equal to whatever your Magic is (as stated on the registration card) then the spell was unsuccessful.  The person may not try the same spell on you again for a week.

-You can choose to try these spells on Non-RARE members, however they do not have to accept them (In our opinion a true role-player would, but thats not for us to decide)

-No RARE member can say that magic doesn't affect them or something along those lines.

-In order to use the spells, you must first have a RARE Mage Reg# and your character must first be registered.

-These spells are not for spars, or to be attempted to be used as enhancers, they're for brawling, unofficial attacks, that sort of thing.

The Spells

Switch Spell
This Spell is a spell for practical jokers, it will change the victim into that of the opposite sex.

Lasts for 30 minutes

"All magic is, is change...

change this thought to that thought,

move it all around and remix the

universe."

Reality Warp
When this spell is invoked the user may change anything he wishes into something else, it's a stronger version of the switch spell, so when you use it make sure you really want to mess with the victim.

Lasts for 30 minutes

"Reality is perception.

Perceptions change,reality

is fluid, and thus can be changed

to what I see fit."

Death Spell
This spell is a death Spell, you can use it at the end of a Death Match or an Assassination Attempt. It's more of an insult than anything, it sends them to hell.

You do this once

"Lords of death hear my words.

I beg of thee to vanquish my enemy,

Carry the soul to Hades' gate."

Terrain Spell
When you invoke this spell you can control rocks, lava, dirt, anything in the ground, once envoked you can do whatever you wish with it, form giant hands to crush enemies, or make armor out of stone.

Lasts for up to 3 attacks

"Gaea mother of the earth I invoke

thee to do my bidding,the earth

itself is mine to command."

Element Spell
The effects of this spell can be dangerous and once again make sure you really want to hurt the Victim, after you have said the spell you can pick any element you want to beat on the victim with , or you can hit him or her with all of them at once.

Lasts for up to 3 attacks

"I invoke the Elments...

Earth, air, water, spirit, fire...

My bidding you will do..

To defeat my foe."

Phase Spell
When you use this spell your mind has to be only on this, you have to control your molecules or they will scatter and you be nothing but a memory, but if you do it right, you will be able to lower and raise your density at will.

Lasts until you leave the room

"I command the building blocks

of my body,I can lower and raise

my density at will, from diamond

to mist."

Paralization Spell
Just as the name says, this spell paralizes people. It's a pretty good spell if you want to kidnapp someone or if you get in a bar fight.

30 minutes

"Gravity now binds you

Your strength has been drained down through,

A slave to the floor

Your power to resist is no more."

Fire Haze Spell
This spell completely annihilates everything (not people)within a 60 foot radius. Setting everything ablaze it hits with an almost indistinguishable fire.

Can only be done once

"Ast kiranann kair Soth-aran

Suh kali Jalaran."

Lesser Fireball Spell
A fireball that harms one target with high impact damage. It wont neccesarily set them on fire but will hit hard.

Flare Ray
Utilising the psyche and the aura of one's body, one can control the conductivity of molecules of the body and channel it into a fierce electrical ray. Should one have sufficient strength or training, the effects can be debilative and/or degenerative on the body of the targetted. At this, it can affect their metabolism and healing rate for up to 30 minutes.

Lasts for 30 minutes

Invoking Power
A very powerful, but yet deadly spell. This spell increases your strength immensily but beware! This spell can also drive one insane after the first 5 mintues of use!

Only used once, lasts 30 minutes

"Calm and quiet like rain...."

"My strentgh, 10 fold I will gain"

"Thou shall go insane!"

Crimson Lightning
High voltage which strikes down to the closest target to you. This spell is mostly likely going to give them a bit o' shock, but not give them electric death.

One time only spell

"Red Blood runs down cruelly with the lightning"

Magic Defense Shield
This is a defense shield, which works for five turns, to nullify all spells cast on you.

Lasts 5 Turns
