Kiyone is Mihoshi's unlucky partner in the Galaxy Police Force. Like Mihoshi, Kiyone is a Detective First Class, but unlike Mihoshi, she might actually deserve the title. Kiyone is extremely dedicated to her job and is generally considered to be a star officer. Even as a ryo-ohki, her colleagues pegged her for the top spot on the force. Unfortunately, Kiyone seems to spend more time managing Mihoshi's mishaps than actually fighting crime in the galaxy. Truth be told, Mihoshi's harebrained antics could cause some serious trouble if it weren't for Kiyone's constant intervention. Even then, Kiyone's ability to stay calm and focused under pressure can't always prevent disaster, but when you consider her circumstances, Kiyone performs amazingly well. Kiyone is happiest when singing karaoke. She's even happier when Mihoshi isn't around!
