Physical Description:
Beast Mode: Catfish’s front half is shaped like the front half of a wild cat, she has
long gray whiskers and bright red eyes, the color somehow looses it’s violence and
intensity on her face. The glowing orbs are fascinating features, which will be
described later along with the rest of her face. Instead of back legs she has a long
dolphin tail and a dorsal fin. Though she looks rather awkward she moves fast.
Catfish’s front legs are fantastically strong and provide the entirety of her mobility
in her beast mode. As she moves her tail drags along the ground, which actually
isn’t a problem on most surfaces. As said, her front legs can easily propel her body
at very high speeds. Plus, her tail, which is far more flexible then that of a normal
dolphin, acts as a stabilizer.
Catfish is light blue all over, aqua. She has no fur, only thick dolphin skin. There’s a
stripe of very light white that goes down from just under her chin down to a bit
after the base of her tail. The transition from blue to white is abrupt, but the
colors blend where they meet. The bottom half of Fish’s face has wisps of pearl
white edging up on to it. Catfish has a slightly demeanor, but with none of the
dignity or predatory nature of normal cats.
Robot Mode: Catfish’s robot mode has a very organic look about it, few sharp
edges and less metal showing. Her tail splits and half of it attaches to each leg.
She keeps her whiskers, which are very useful for expressing her emotions. When
they perk up she’s alert, pointing forward conveys interest, drooping whiskers
usually means she’s sleepy since Catfish is never NEVER depressed. She has the
interesting ability to make them point every which way when she’s confused,
summoning an innocent, quizzical, and somehow messy expression.
Catfish has very strange eyes. They shine with youthful innocence and vigor, but
also contain a mysterious sparkle, like she’s laughing on the inside about some
cosmic joke you couldn’t hope to understand. Looking into Catfish’s eyes makes a
bot want to laugh, it automatically triggers this base reaction in others. If you look
very deep into them, and to do this you’d have to stare at Fish for a longer time
then Rita would be comfortable with, you might catch a fleeting glimpse of
something different, something wise, something purple. Some deeper meaning
flitting around behind the eyes and inside the head of a child.
Her face and head have a feline look about them, with whiskers, pointed ears and
glowing red eyes. Whatever expression she makes it’s always dominated by an
indestructible innocence and an everlasting inner energy. As in beast mode she is
light blue all over but with silver stripes at her joints.
Personality: Catfish is a good and loyal friend but often very hard to get along
with. This is not because she is moody or reclusive or anything else normally
associated with social trouble. Catfish can’t comprehend social norms. It’s because
of some error in her logic circuits, rules such as "Don’t take things that aren’t
yours" are often mangled in her mind to rules like "Don’t take things that aren’t
yours except when no one is around or when you’re sure they wouldn’t mind". She
doesn’t take things for personal gain; she’s like a little kid who doesn’t understand
that this is "bad" even though it’s been driven into her skull time and time again.
She is also very easily distracted; she might lose interest in fight after seeing a
pretty butterfly or a shiny rock. She has a decided lack of common sense. Fear is
a word completely alien to her; things that any vaguely sane bot would be terrified
of simply interest her. Not that she’s immune to pain or oblivious to dangerous
situations; she just views them in different ways. She fantastic ability to get in
and out of places and a tendency to "borrow" things without the consent of their
owners. She doesn’t view this as criminal; usually she isn’t even aware she’s taken
something until she finds it in one of her storage pockets (see weaponry/special
abilities).
She has an uncommonly large amount of luck, this usually gets her out of the bad
situations her other attributes get her into. Normally she's extremely loyal to her
friends (to her everybody’s considered a friend) but completely irrepressible and
unflappable. In contrast to her total lack of common sense Catfish is a technical
genius and can hack circles around almost anyone. This can be a problem given
her inquisitive nature.
Catfish has very strange reactions to edible objects that are normally perceived as
harmless. Eating pickles makes her burp bubbles, chocolate makes her change
colors (a different hue with every bite), coffee sends her on an inanimate
object-destroying rampage and you do NOT want to meet her on sugar high.
These are only a few examples of the many strange, but fascinating things that
can happen when you feed her. Just to be on the safe side, run the nutrition label
by Rita first.
Catfish can’t comprehend the emotion of "sadness" or "depression" and is never
affected by either of them. She is never rude or mean or spiteful and also doesn’t
"do" revenge. In her eyes, life is an endless adventure and she lives all of her life
too the fullest, loving every cycle of it.
However, when faced with something indisputably wrong or evil Catfish undergoes
a change. She will only do this when in the presence of only one other person,
very rarely in a group. This alteration is signaled by the color f her eyes which will
change to a very dark violet. It is unknown how this change affects her
personality, mainly because I haven’t told you, but we’ll all find out in time.

Weapons/Special abilities:
Harpoon Gun: Hand held gun, stored in her right leg. Shoots out small harpoon
which paralyzes the victim (time spent paralyzed depends on the size of the
opponent). The harpoon is attached to the gun by a thin chain so it can be reeled
back in if she misses or she can reel back a whole bot if she hit one. The chain
can be taken off; she has three shots and reloads in her storage pockets. The gun
can be used as a grappling hook and in many other imaginative ways.
Energy Net: Tightly woven net made of pure energy. Shoots out of her wrist and
she uses it as a melee weapon like gladiators (Think ancient Rome). When it is
wrapped around another robot it drains away their energy and makes them
sluggish. When caught in the net you need to untangle yourself quickly or you
collapse in a certain amount of time depending on your stamina. Catfish uses this
weapon to gain an edge on larger enemies.
Laser Spear: Spear with a metal handle and a glowing laser spearhead. Catfish
uses this in close combat situations in conjunction with the energy net or harpoon
gun. It’s stored on top of her right wrist and the blade can extend to be used as a
dagger.
Force Shield: Shaped like the kinds of shields Native Americans used as decoration.
Oval shaped and supported by thin metal instead of sticks and it has a blue energy
shield where the normal shield would be. It deflects all lightweight fire, most
medium, and some heavy weight.
Storage Pockets: A detachable belt around Catfish’s waist. There are small storage
compartments attached to every part of the belt that range in size. These
compartments are much larger on the inside then they look on the outside and
each one can only be opened with a keyword and a touch from Catfish. They are
indestructible, but can be forced open by a very good hacker. Mostly they are
used to store anything Catfish finds interesting from technical gadgets that she
doesn’t understand to shiny rocks and preserved flowers.
Infiltration Toolkit: Includes low powered lasers, lock probes, portable decripters,
and other hacking equipment. It is also equipped with bombs if she decides to use
the direct method. Catfish can get in absolutely anywhere with this.
Pure and Simple Luck: Because of her naïve attitude Catfish relies quite heavily on
her high luck score. She leads a charmed life and luck is more of a material object
to her then the vague guiding force it is for most people. On occasion she has
actually used her luck score to do something, as a normal bot would use his
strength to move some thing. The details on this are not known, mostly because
Catfish doesn’t care.
History: Catfish’s history isn’t definite. She has served under many commanders,
some worked out better than others did. She tends to bounce around a lot, this is
partly because she likes a change of scene once in a while and partly because
there is almost always someone who can’t stand her active nature and light
fingers. She is the bane of law enforcers everywhere, always in the wrong but
completely unaware of it. There’s also her escaping ability, she can be locked up in
the highest security prison with autoguns trained on her constantly but will still
find some way to slip out to go for a walk or to chat with the guards (She always
comes back though, considers it her responsibility to be a good prisoner.) But
usually (mostly because of her insanely high luck) she gets off with just a stern
warning that she solemnly and seriously listens to while relieving the judge of his
gavel and anything else he happens to have on him. She happily will return
anything she "borrows" if the bot asks her.
Catfish met her guardian, Rita, while occupying a cell in a Predacon high security
prison. The mink was brought in after her ship was captured and happened to be
tossed into the same cell as the irrepressible Catfish who had wandered into the
base earlier and decided to get caught. Instead of going completely insane, as
most bots would from being in close confines with the fuzor, Rita took an instant
liking to her. After a few weeks of this both got tired of marbles, jacks, and
annoying the guards. Rita expressed a want to get out; Catfish cheerfully overrode
the defense system, and opened all the cells in the place. Together they caused a
major jailbreak, most casualties numbering in the Predacon personnel.
After getting out and sending all the other Maximals on their various ways the
companions set out on their long trek back to Cybertron, made longer by Rita’s
tendency to wander and Catfish’s complete willingness to follow her. ("So, should
we take the cargo ship heading straight back to Cybertron with no stops or
interruptions, or the exploration vessel that might be going vaguely in the right
direction? Hmm, tough one.")
While travailing on a particularly remote planet Catfish and Rita triggered a
sequence of events later known as "The Pasta Bar Incident".
Catfish: "Oooh! I remember that!"
Rita: "Be good and keep to the oath of silence Fish."
When they finally arrived, they parted ways. Rita going back to doing jobs and
Catfish just wandered off.

Commanders Notes:
Captain Ragnorak: "If that damn cat thing ever shows its head around here again
I’ll make sure it leaves without it!"
Captain Jolkan: "Catfish is annoying to work with, especially on a day to day basis
but she is unequalled in her ability with computers and is lucky as hell. If you can
bear her antics she’s a good asset. The only problem is keeping the less
understanding solders from killing her."
Commander Grich: "Cute kid, smart too, just don’t leave her alone with anything
important. I’m serious, she’ll take anything that’s not fastened to the floor and
something’s that are."
Quotes:
"I wonder what this button does."
"You know, if you want I can set up this really cool program where you get to
blast Predacons. I have the data right… Well sheesh, you don’t have to get mad
about it. I’ll be in my cell if anyone needs me." (While captured on a Predacon
ship.)
"You can find out a lot about people by going through their luggage, and it’s so
much more fun then asking them!"
"When in trouble, when in doubt. Run in circles scream and shout!"- Personal
philosophy
