BEAST MODE: Margay (Tree-Cat)/Falcon. He looks like a big Margay with wings inconspicuously grafted on. If you look up what a margay is, you will see that it is very dexterous, and agile. With sharp claws that are made for latching onto things, mainly climbing objects. His wings don’t get in his way, cause he can fold them on is back, much like a bird.

ROBOT MODE: However in robot mode his wings stay open. (Think Silverbolt.) But he can drape them over himself like a cape, and do all sorts of things with them, maybe because of the cat’s dexterity. His optics are standard red.

HISTORY:

Burnout started out as a smuggler, but didn’t have a beast mode because he had never needed to use one. He had his share of run-ins with pirates, and for the most part escaped unharmed. But on one occasion he was shot down and landed on a planet inhabited by animals. His ship was heavily damaged, and he was barely able to get the sensor array on-line in time to scan an animal. But the array blew while scanning, and it gathered only minimal data. The computer selected the animal that it gathered the most info on, but what it really scanned a Falcon and a Margay fighting, and assumed it was one animal. Burnout realized that something was wrong when he looked in the mirror, but what could he do. He began to think it was pretty cool after a while. He finally gets his tub off the surface and back into space, and so he continued his business.

PERSONALITY:

Burnout started out as a smuggler, and has a “Han solo” complex, which makes him rough around the edges. He enjoys gambling, and is quite good at it. He almost always has the wrong to say, and at times acts immature. He can get on you’re nerves real fast, but when he tries, he can be quite pleasant. He acts all tough to make up for his cute cuddly looking beast mode, thought it does give him the element of surprise. He likes to stay in beast mode a lot because he enjoys getting in touch with his wild side. Sometimes he doesn’t fully shut down his animal programming, so he doesn’t go crazy on long cargo run due to the lack of outside contact. He also sticks his nose in other peoples business, which gets irritating. Burnout has a problem obeying orders, but in a pinch he gets things done.

WEAPONS/EQUIPMENT/SPECIAL ABILITIES:

ARMAMENT:
Insulated circuitry.
Ablative wing armor.

BEAST MODE:
Tooth n’ claw.
Wings.

ROBOT MODE:
Wings. (Great wing/eye coordination, can even manipulate objects, like I say, dexterity-to-the-max.)
Standard wing missiles.
Claws. (On arms and legs, retractable, great for climbing.) Side arm on right leg. (Standard blaster pistol with a laser sight.)

SPAS gun built into the left leg. (Mounted on left thigh, high velocity slugs.)

Multi-computer. (On his left arm there’s a section of his arm plating missing. In it’s place, there’s a computer touch panel that’s hooked up to some wires in his arm. It has a direct connection to his neural net, which he can use to increase his stimulus response time. It also has many other features that comes in handy for a mercenary like him.)

EQUIPMENT:
Thermal and radiation shielding. (Mainly used for work in engine cores, but can be adapted.)
Lock pick set.
Utility blade.
Visor set.
Claws. (On arms and legs, retractable, great for climbing.)
Mag-lock movement augmentation. (Magnets on hands and feet, eliminates unsightly claw marks on metal.)
Small tool kit.
Small holographic projector in left wrist. (Used for showing data and Com signals. 1 foot range.)
State-of-the-art Data-pad, equipped with a communications array. (A must for any online trader.)

Known Acquaintances: Several contacts in the underground and black market.

Commanders Notes:
CEO of Cargo Enterprises Inc: "One of my pest freighter pilots, though a total jerk. He hates anyone to tell him what to go, so I pretty much let him do his own thing. But at times that has backfired on me, I never knew what to do with him."

Captain of the Starblazer: "Ehhh, he was under my command for a while. He makes a damn good navigator, engineer, or anything else you can think of, except anything responsible. He left to get his one ship, I don’t know where he got the money, and I think I don’t want to know."

Commander Erger of patrol ship 1132: "A clever son of a gun. I had to blow out the engines on my ship twice just to catch him. Do you know how much those things cost!? He even rubbed it in my face by giving me the name of a good dealer. If I see him ever again, I’m going to personally VAPORIZE HIM!"

Quotes:
"You want to play? Either way, you’re gunna pay."
