Paint With... Plastic Solar Energy Cells?

Cause Not Everyone Needs a Bulky Pad

The University of California Berkley has some college students who aren't drunk, unless you mean drunk with ideas for global domination. A team has recently created solar power cells that can be painted onto almost any surface. While the power level isn't as high as the bulky kinds, yet, it is still unprecedented.

Black Goo Near Florida

Eddie Brock moves to Miami

Recently some black goo was spotted off the coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico from satellite pictures. This goo has been identified as some sort of weird algea. Fishermen claim that it's scared off some fish. Now, that's just wacky!-Drake 3/31/02

Cartoon Network picks up Transformers

Struggles a bit with Bruticus

Bad joke, yeah, but it's for a good reason. Cartoon Network is expanding its Toonami show from 5 to 7 to 4 to 7. Why do they need to do this? Well because they have two new shows, Transformers: Armada and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Let's concentrate on TF though. I do believe that, especially with the likes of Adult Swim on CN Programming, Transformers: Armada should be another excellent program. Ranking up there with JLA and Samurai Jack. I'm giddy.-Drake 3/21/02

TF Comic Kicks Off

Again

Dreamwave comics (Dreamwaveprod.com), the same people who brought you Banished Knights and Dark Minds (Who? Exactly), have picked up the license for a continuation of the Transformers Comic. The comic will take place between the old comic series and Transformers: The Movie. The Autobots attempt to escape Earth, after beating the Decepticons, but they get shot and all Transformers are scattered on the Earth below. Years later, around 2005, some Decepticons are discovered and sold as "Machines of Death." Adult Spike, yes that Spike, has to then hunt for the Autobots to stop the Cons. Problem is, he doesn't know where Prime and Co. is, and he also doesn't know where the Matrix is. Pre-orders for the comics can be found on various fan sites attempting to be cool, but I believe the comics come to stores in April.-Drake 5/8/02

www.WizardWorld.com Makes Me Happy

Transformer Cover and Six Pages - Online

WizardWorld.com has recently placed the cover and first six pages of Dreamwave Production's Transformer comics online. Sift through Pat Lee's pencils, Rob Armstrong's ink, and The Real T!'s colors, all to only one shot of one Transformer, who's partially covered by snow. Could be worse I guess, at least that one TF isn't Wheelie.-Drake 5/8/02

Transformer/G. I. Joe Crossover Planned?

Bumblebee says - "Hey, give me another paint job!"

Dvils Due and Dreamwave have stated that they will be teaming up for the resurregence of the 80's crossover. No information on how it will work TF-wise, since not much is known about the TF comics yet.-Drake 5/8/02
