Family: Alex is married to Elizabeth Tailhandier, two years his junior, whom he met on a brief excursion to England with a long time friend when he was twenty three. For the next year and a half, they kept in touch through correspondence until she found her way to Paris where they were married.

Six months later, Elizabeth discovered she was pregnant and some nine months later, apple of his father's eye, Phillipe Tailhandier (currently being played as an NPC), now eleven, was born. Though he shares his father's eye colour, he more closely resembles his mother- sharing her dainty features, high cheekbones and chestnut brown hair.

History: Alex lived in Paris all his life and up until their deaths in 1815, he lived with his lower-middle class parents. Before taking a job as a police officer, when he turned twenty-one he worked odd jobs wherever he could get them- in factories, as a delivery man and finally, the beginnings of a military career led to law enforcement, which he quickly developed a passion for and now considers his true calling.

Two years later, due to a minor injury recieved in the line of duty, Alex was granted enough time off to visit England with a long time friend. It was then he met Elizabeth Norwood, whom he married two years later and who gave birth to his son a little over a year after that.
