The Dark Frontier
Rules
Play will be primarily on a case-by-case basis. Players will send in their "turns" by email to me, and the results will be sent back in another email. Knowing how people’s schedules vary widely, I feel this would be the easiest way to proceed. Plus it will be the easiest way to bring in new PC’s as others join the game.
Each Player should send email AT LEAST once per week. I will do my best to respond as quickly as possible, so just watch your mailboxes. J
Though the PC’s will generally be alone, except for NPC’s (Non-Player Characters… Characters run exclusively by me), it will no doubt occur that PC’s will run into each other from time-to-time. I would prefer to handle these situations by playing in a "chatroom" format. I would prefer to do this using IRC (Internet Relay Chat) or ICQ. When this happens, I will get with each of the Players involved and we can schedule a date and time when we can role-play the encounter. In order to keep the game going and still adhere to everyone’s schedules, I will limit the need for "chat" encounters as much as I can. So if two PC’s are at separate ends of the same warehouse at the same time, I won’t call for a chat, unless it is unavoidable.
Any contention as far as the rules of the game go, disputes between Players, or any other such thing will be handled by me, the Storyteller.
In order to maintain the privacy of the Players, no email addresses will be divulged to the other Players unless EXPLICIT permission is given. ‘Nuff said.
