I
have never known about my parents or relatives. The name
I have was found on me. I was raised by monks in a remote
section of Zoluren, just south of Riverhaven. However, I
did not know this until many years later. They had a very
strict discipline about outsiders and I never grew close
to any of them. One of the elders found me when I was
still a baby and had felt obligated in caring for me. I
stayed with them in a large room with little comfort
until I was old enough to beseparated from the group. |

I
lived in a small building I had built for myself and made
several changes to throughout the years. It was a bit
away from the rest of the quarters. I cooked for and
cleaned after them and ate my meals alone except for some
friends I had made with the wildlife. You would think
monks would be clean natured but some of the messes I had
to clean up, well all I can say is "Whew!" |

I
also cared for the sick and injured in the hospital. this
is where I learned how to speak, talking with the
patients. The rest of the time I spent reading books,
spending time around the wilderness, and hiding and
watching the monks with their daily rituals. If I had
ever been seen I probably would have been punished
severely. The monks never spoke and I only spoke when I
was alone. |

As
I lived among them I learned many of their ways and had
much time for thinking. I remember one day there was an
attack on the monks. I do not know why for they never had
much for anyone to want. The only thing I remember about
the incident was, I looked up from tending a patient when
I was struck on the back of the head by an object. When I
had awoke, I was buried under some linen cloths and
everyone was gone or dead. There wasn't much left,
everything had been taken or thrown in a pile and burnt. |

I
spent the next few months wandering the wilderness, angry
and confused. I kept remembering an old paladin I had
tended to. He had told me much about the ways of a
paladin. He had told me of a town and the guild that was
there. He had called it The Crossing. One evening I
awaoke from a bad dream thinking of the monks and the
paladin. I had looekd up to the monks for what they did
with the races. Helping, raising, and taking care of them.
I wanted to do the same but not this way, and when I
awoke from my nightmare, I decided the path of the
paladin was for me. I had decided to try to save lives
not to raise them. I then began searching for The
Crossing, the town the paladin had spoken with me about. |

I
finally found myself one day at the NE Gate of The
Crossing; proceeded in asking for directions to the
Paladin Guaid and was taken there. I joined the guild and
have not regretted it to this day. The path has not been
easy but I would have it no other way. I love helping
others in any way I can. |

After
some time I decided it was time for me to leave The
Crossing and proceeded north. I traveled through various
villages and towns until I came upon the gates of Theren.
I knew the instant I saw the gates this was going to be
my permanent home. Since then I have traveled a bit more,
going south to Shard and have visited the Islands, but I
always return home. I joined the Theren Guard after
living here several years and I swear to protect these
lands with every ounce of my strength. With
my Life. |
