Name: Vastal Arlin Kjur
Alias: Vas half-breed
Age: 19
Height: 5' 3"
Weight: 120 lbs.
Eyes: He has the eyes of an eagle. They have large, brown irises and deep, slender pupils.
Hair: Dark brown. Length-wise it is short, about 1.5 inches. It doesn't lay completely flat on his head, but does not stick up or spike, either.
Weapons: He prefers the bow, since his eyesight and aim are unimaginable. Despite this he still carries a short-sword in a sheath on his back, should the need for close combat arise.
Skills: He has the eyesight of an eagle, so he is able to see things at long distances. Incredibly good aim is also a benefit of his inherited vision. His hearing was also an affect of his Anthromorphic genes. It is not that of an eagle, or a normal Terran, merely somewhere in the middle. Although he hasn't the capability of flight, he has trained long and hard to increase his close-range speed and agility. He is an all-around fast man, although his long-range speed is merely that of any fast Terran. He can also do a few tricks with the elements of wind and fire. They are simply for amusement, though, and really don't do much but entertain.

Background: Vas' physique is that of a normal Terran. He is lean, but in no way scrawny. His skin is a light shade of tan, a color of brown just like the rest of him. Although he holds himself as a tall man, his actual height leaves him no room for intimidation; he remains a joke for the cockier people he meets.
He is a short man, although his actions would place him heads above anyone who would challenge him. He has put up with prejudice for his race his whole life, and shows no tolerance for it. Vas is no slower to challenge a bear-Terran who would dare insult him than any Ub-Polian (a very small and weak race of alien). As much as he sticks up for himself, he does the same for anyone who would be a true friend to him.
Vas' clothing usually consists of faded brown, worn, leathered pants that are slightly baggy. An off-white, thick cotton V-necked T-shirt with laces at the V is worn under a brown vest. His shoes are the only part of his wardrobe that stick out. They are black, rubber-soled tennis shoes that he got when on one of his trips to the Teknos side of Terracon. Supposedly they would not wear out for over ten years, and Vas shows no signs of growing out of them.
Vas Arlin Kjur is an eagle-Terran/Terran half-breed. His father, Derin Puqu Kjur was the normal Terran. When he and Vas' mother, Vette Jes Kjur, got married they were rejected by most of the people they knew. Marriages between normal Terrans and Anthromorphics were usually looked down upon. Well, Derin and Vette moved away from their villages and into the mountains, where Vette had Vas. Derin and Vette knew that Vas would have a hard time in society, so they tried as hard as they could to keep him from the larger towns. This was almost pointless, since he the brunt of prejudice from the smaller towns and villages, anyway. Then, near when he turned sixteen, he wanted out, he wanted to explore. He wanted to know what was going on in Terracon and see what his part was in it. His parents could hold him in no longer, so they let him go.
He began a trek to the city of Agre, which was near a large trading post. There he met many new and strange people, and one person in particular. A woman called Zephyr. She was a dabbler in the elements of wind and fire-which some her tricks she taught to Vas-, and the love of Vas' life. Despite the disapproval of almost everyone Zephyr and Vas knew, they were married. And Vas planned to settle down and live with his wife for the rest of his life. But an evil man called Enrodar-DiAreus had other plans. Subsequently, he was a servant of Shidousha, but that had little to do with this matter. Enrodar-DiAreus planned to kill Vas and take Zephyr to be his wife, for he had loved her for a long time while she did not return the feeling. Then, one night, Enrodar-DiAreus broke into Vas' and Zephyr's house and attacked Vas. Vas fought him for several minutes, but he had been caught off his guard and had no weapons, whereas Enrodar-DiAreus held a projectile weapon that was used by the Teknos. Vas finally got Enrodar-DiAreus on the floor and it looked as if Vas would take care of this man forever, but then Enrodar-DiAreus managed to get a shot off. Due to Vas' speed and quick reflexes, he managed to jumped out of the way before the shot was fired. But his wife had no such luck. Zephyr was hit clean through the heart, and died just moments after. Enrodar-DiAreus, shocked at what he had done, ran out as quick as he could. In his sorrow, Vas made no attempt to pursue, he just held his dead wife, weeping. They had only been married for a month...
Several years later, Vas made his way to the large town of Reen, a town in the trees of one of the giant forests. He had been fully educated as to the situation of Terracon, and had already fought his share of battles in several minor armies. When he reached Reen, he found his wife's murderer, Enrodar-DiAreus. Vas hadn't been searching for him, but he had found him none-the-less. Enrodar-DiAreus made a break for it, knowing that Vas would kill him if he could get his hands on him. Vas trailed him, for several weeks, Enrodar-DiAreus managing to stay just a few steps ahead of Vas. When Vas finally caught up with him he had reached territory occupied by a clan that was ruled by the Syndicate. Vas had little knowledge of this Syndicate, and pursued Enrodar-DiAreus just the same. He managed to locate Enrodar-DiAreus' exact position and met up with him on the street. Enrodar-DiAreus shot Vas through the right of his stomach before Vas shot an arrow through his head. Vas had had his vengeance, and had received two scars for it, one on his belly and one on his back. After that Vas was hunted down by some members of the present clan, but he managed to get away before they killed him. Soon after Vas joined another army, and started fighting the Teknos again. It didn't last, he had had enough fighting in those three short years and wanted to live a more neutral life. He also wanted to find out more about this rumored "Syndicate" that Enrodar-DiAreus was supposedly working for before Vas killed him. Although the search for knowledge about this Syndicate turned up next to nothing. But Vas continued, uncovering what he could, when he could, and still trying to live a semi-peaceful life.
