I have regained some faith in the american people this November 4th. Obama proved himself intelligent, savy and to be the best hope for change in Washington. On the other side, I think McCain sealed his fate when he selected Palin as a running mate. He lost his main criticism of Obama: lack of experience. She also proved time and again that she was generally clueless and pretty ignorant. How does someone claim they have foreign relations experience because they can see some country from their house? She is really a piece of work. With this selection, McCain solidified his hard right-wing supporters and worked them up into a fever pitch. But he alienated the majority of middle of the road voters including real republicans; ie, voters who believe in small government, fiscal responsibility, limited social programs and low taxes.
