PIC : OF : THE : WEEK
12 November 2006

One thing we, the people, are able to do in a democracy is hold those in elected offices accountable for their performance. I am still amazed that G-Dub got re-elected in '04. It seems that many Americans are finally coming to their senses. It's about time. I can't believe that so many people will vote based on religious ideology. Please do not vote for Bush "because he prays for me every morning". Leave the praying for you up to your pastor. Let's have the person running the country not a complete idiot and taking the old US and A down a path we might not recover from for a long time.
That reminds me, I haven't seen "Borat" yet but am very anxious. Not only to be amused and entertained by his antics but also to laugh at the idiot frat guys who were lucky enough to find a wonderful platform for them to spout off all of their racist and sexist wisdom. I wouldn't normally have thought twice about these guys but since they have chosen to sue 20th Century Fox (rather than climb into a hole as they should) I think they made themselves into even bigger morons.
I emplore anyone that has read this far to check out Vanity Fair's Neo Culpa article. The very people that brought the Iraq War to be are now questioning if it was the right thing to do (while blaming others on its failures). I say about 5 years too late. It is not a sign of weakness (as Cheney et al would like you to believe) to say, "Arggh, I was wrong -- this administration that I voted for and put my trust in has royally f-ed things up." So, let your future voting be the apology the rest of us are seeking.
