Work travel this week to Chicago and Porland. Had to spend the night in Chicago and I thought the lobby bar was intriguing. I sleep so horribly in hotel rooms. First "Shall We Dance" is on HBO (bad but addicting movie with J-Lo). Then the stupid air purifier humming keeps you up til you finally decide to investigate and find out what the noise is and turn it off. Then you start thinking about travelling with your own bar of soap - it's got to be wasteful to open up a new bar (no matter how small), use it once and leave. Now you are worried about the alarm being set correctly so you call for a wake up call. Except the lady of the front desk hangs up without saying "goodbye" so you wonder it that mundane task was accomplished correctly. And on and on...
