One of my favorite things to do is weekend brunch. Meeting up with friends at Bechelli's in San Francisco, Grey Dog in the West Village or Hi Spot near our home in Madrona is a great way to start off the day. We met Dave and Maggie (and baby-to-be) and Alana, Zach and Kalei (in carrier) at Endolyne Joe's in West Seattle for some early morning brunch. Dave asked me, "You and Joy are brunch people, eh?" to which I answer a big "yes". (Dave is not Canadian, it was probably more of a statement than a question so I tried to make it into a question. Although he is from Alaska, which is near Canada, so maybe they say "eh" up there too, eh?). Anyway, if anybody ever feels like brunch on the weekend give me a holler and hold on to your biscuits and gravy.
