Picking just one picture from our swimming adventure was tough. This is at Volunteer Park near my parents house. There is a big wading pool that gets about 18" deep at the middle where I took Julian for his first "swim". He enjoyed splashing around and being moved through the water. His dad did not enjoy the cold water all that much.
This weekend was also Seafair. I've never been that big of a proponent of this silly spectacle (hydroplane races in Lake Washington complete with Blue Angels airshow) but I've been known to like a good excuse to get drunk and enjoy the sunshine as much as the next guy. Now that it interrupts my baby's naps, freaks my cats out and crowds the streets with cars I'm beginning to think of it as a big pain. Oh well, whatever floats your boat.
