Dec. 20. 2004 >> Zoegirl makes Holiday TV appearances. The Action House Christmas Special features ZOEgirl performing a hit from its new album, DIFFERENT KIND OF FREE, plus other guests Mary Mary and the cast from ABC sitcom Less Than Perfect. The program is airing now through December 26 on Sky Angel, and on TBN-JCTV December 20 and 25; it will also air on I-Life, Victory, and TCT. Check local listings for details. Then, on January 1, ZOEgirl rings in 2004 with Michael W. Smith, Stacie Orrico, Jars of Clay, and more in the Night of Joy concert special on the Hallmark Channel from 9 to 11 PM CST. The show repeats January 4 in an abbreviated one-hour format at 11 AM CST. Expect behind-the-scenes interviews with each artist in addition to the exclusive live performances from Disney's Magic Kingdom theme park in Orlando, Florida. And speaking of live performances, ZOEgirl will continue to support DIFFERENT KIND OF FREE beginning in February with the 40-city FREE Experience tour along with special guests Joy Williams, Superchic(k), and host Susie Shellenberger, editor of Focus on the Family's Brio magazine for girls. Each show will go beyond great music to also include a powerful message and multimedia experience geared to teenagers.

Oct. 22, 2003 >> Zoegirl's new Guitars Christian trio ZOEgirl to play Epiphone acoustic guitars on tour.
ZOEgirl, an all-woman Christian contemporary trio, stopped by Epiphone recently and demo'ed a variety of acoustic guitars to take on the road with them while headlining the current Gibson-sponsored ShoutFest tour and their own upcoming tour in spring 2004. ZOEgirl members Alisa Girard, Kristin Swinford and Chrissy Conway have the current No. 1 single on the Christian contemporary chart, "You Get Me." Their new album for Sparrow Records, Different Kind of Free, was released September 16 and debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's "Heatseekers" chart, spending three weeks in the Top 5.

The tour will consist of very special guests Superchic[k], Joy Williams, and guest speaker Susie Shellenberger (of girls' magazine Brio). Sept. 11-2nd member of ZOEgirl married. We are pleased to announced that Alisa Girard has just recently been married. She wed a couple days before the "You Get Me" video shoot and now her husband is traveling with the band as the dummer. She did not marry ZOEgirl's drummer, he just became their drummer
Aug. 27-"You Get Me" video shoot. The ladies of ZOEgirl recently spent a day in the bottom of El Mirage, a dry lake bed in the Mojave Desert. The crew was there to shoot a video for their current single "You Get Me", from the September 16 release, Different Kind Of FREE.The day was complete with extreme wind and an actual temperature of 108 degrees in the daylight hours.
