MP3 Explanations.
- "Sorrow's Tears" was written after the World Trade Center attacks. I felt a deep sadness in my heart that day and turned to my guitar to express it. What you're hearing is the final result.
- "The Fall of Dawn" was basically a bunch of ideas I had all strung into one piece. It's one of my favorite pieces because it really reflects on a time of my life where I was forced to look at myself and decide who I really wanted to be... =)
- "The Notion of Silent Madness" was the first piece I had ever really done a whole solo over. There was no real motive outside of just playing from the heart.
- "Infinities Sadness" is the first piece I ever multi-tracked. It's probably my favorite piece out of everything that I've recorded to this date outside of "Sorrow's Tears".
- "Friday the 13th Reflectia Style" has an interesting story behind it. There are a lot of nintendo games and things of that nature that has very appealing music to me! This one game in particular had a very dark, ominous sound to it. So I sat down one day and figured out how to play it on guitar. I then recorded it and sampled another guitar part of my addition onto it! It was really fun to do. The clip is short but sweet and you may have to turn your volumn up a bit to hear it good. The encoding process made it very silent.
- "Friday the 13th NES Soundfile" is a soundfile I recorded from the actual game itself! This is what I used to figure out the notes. So it went from this piece to my piece. =)
