Nothing much changed in the Corvette design until 1984, when the Corvette got an all new look. Production of a 1983 model was skipped so this new generation could be finished. They still had a way to go with the power, putting out a weak 205 h.p.

Finally! With the 40th anniversary model came the ZR1 and some real power for the Corvette.

The fifth incarnation of this car, the 1997 model brought radical changes to the Corvette, being only the fifth major change in the car's history.

2005: The Corvette wil receive a major facelift based on its Cadillac brethren.
