Plan B

Dave Curtis - Vox

I have been involved with music ever since I was a little kid. Performing with the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale (singing) everywhere across this state. I play the Trumpet, Piano, Guitar, Harmonica, and Pots and Pans with various skill levels and comfortability. I like music. Sad music. I'm a sad kinda guy.

I met Mickey and Rob on a cold day in Fort Collins - I think it was November... or maybe October... anyway, I answered an ad and drove to their house where they both waited for me - looking really pissed off. I kind of waved in their direction and felt like a queer. I thought, "why the hell did I just wave?" and it wasn't a normal "wassup" kind of salute, but more like a Prom queen elbow, elbow, wrist, wrist kind of motion. I figured that would be the last I would hear from them, so I prepared myself to hate their music no matter how good it was. Ask anyone, and they'll tell you that I generally hate most music anyway, so this really wasn't a hard thing to do.

Long story short, we came to our then-drummer's house - Raoul - and they layed down some tunes which I thought were pretty killer - namely, what was to become Gutter Squirrell and Harmonix Song - I was hooked, and I was pumped so I picked up the mic and did my best Alannis Morisette impression - need I say more? Despite the affectionate greeting, and the singing that took place in that little room in Windsor, they decided to invite me back to keep doing it... so I did.

That's the story, and I'm pleased to say that after 3 or 4 different drummers and an armada of d.j.'s PLAN B. is in it's final form, and is prepared to do things to your ears that should never be done to any part of the human anatomy.
