When you visit some place new or beautiful, always bring a camera. You never know what you may want to keep to memory.

I love taking pictures, and some of them are beautiful, so I thought I'd share them.

Give the page a while to load...there are a BILLION pictures on here!

"Morning View"
Taken in the midst of a beautiful sunrise in Daytona Beach, Florida, right before I went to walk along the shoreline and dig the sand in my toes. It was almost perfect.

"Child's Dream"
This looks so real, but it's just a movie prop at Universial Studios. The boat is from "Jaws".

"Ceremonies"
Rachael on stage after our 8th grade graduation is over. We just couldn't seem to let go...it was hard...and it's going to be even harder this time around.

"Lawnchair"
This has to be my favorite picture of all time. It's a perfect moment in time when the world around you seems surreal. Taken from my hotel room at the beach in Florida.

"No Swimming"
The zoo in Minneapolis. I think there were ducks in here, but obviously they weren't out and about. The habitat was beautiful.

"First of the Season"
The people that live down the street from me have a lot of elm, oak, and other trees in their back yards, which can be easily viewed from the elementary playground park. Every year, this one tree turns colors before all of the rest of them. I love to go sit at the park on the giant rocks and write.

"Street Corners"
A street corner in Aplington. Rachael and I were obsessed with taking cool pictures. There's just something about capturing the perfect stillness that appeals to us.

"Red Tree"
This tree is right across the road from my house and I always love staring at it or walking by it because in the fall it turns the prettiest red.

"Splash Zone"
Rachael at Islands of Adventure. We spent a lot of time at this particular spot getting drenched. It was great.

"Warrior"
In 8th grade we ventured to Minneapolis for a class trip and I fell in love with the green house at the zoo. Then I saw the statue and an oppertunity.

"Day Dreams"
I didn't take this picture, Rachael did. The tree always produced flowers in the late spring and it's fun to run through them when they're falling...like snow. It's quite beautiful and romantic, so she took a picture of it.

"Bunk Mates"
Rachael and I shared bunkbeds in Cabin 12 while at Tennessee. We didn't have the greatest experience, but we learned to appreciate the value of a shower.

"Cabin 12"
Ahh...the dreaded Cabin 12. It was so humid and airy and buggy in there that people couldn't get their thongs to dry. How sad.

"Cartoons"
I got paid a dollar to do this at Universial Studios by Rachael. Obviously I didn't take the picture. But it was worth it. That dollar got me a bottle of water...

"Cartoons 2"
This is part of an inside joke...concerning Rachael and Casey's prom picture and her family. So we made our own frame out of random magnets on my refridgerator and a doodle I did when I was babysitting. This reminds me of the Nick Jr. picture, so I made the titles a series.

"Castle Two"
Another view of the castle in Central Park.

"North Carolina"
A spin off of my Florida picture...this is in a condo in North Carolina taken by Rachael...I've been there...it's beautiful.
