Arnold's back to save John Connor from death for the third time in the epic scifi/action thriller series. Man, that sounded like a tagline. Maybe it was.

Many thought since James Cameron sat this one out that it was going to suck. This couldn't be farther from the truth. Jonathan Mostow did a fantastic job of using the monstrous budget for this film to bring out the true dark feel this movie needed. It's in the title, Rise Of The Machines; something bad was bound to go down.

John Connor thinks he prevented Judgment Day years earlier but has always had this feeling that he's wrong. It's a good thing he trusted his gut, because within hours of Arnold's emergence in the film, (you guessed it) the world starts to go to hell. And I have to say that Kristanna Loken did a superb job of playing the T-X. The fact that she's so athletic and able to keep that evil killing machine demeanor the whole time is quite a feat, and her pursuit was relentless. And I simply cannot picture anyone else playing the T-101 than Governor Arnold. He was made for that role.

The feel of the whole movie was constant, yet the viewer didn't know what was to happen next. Overall, I'll give this one 4.577 nuclear holocausts out of 5.
