I felt it necessary to do a review on this movie because so many people have been saying "it sucked" and "I hate the ending." Well, I thought the contrary. And while we're at it, to those people who bashed it, how would you have ended the movie? Geez.
The Matrix Revolutions picks up right where it left off on Reloaded (which again, people hated and I enjoyed). The entire focus of this movie is the impending war on the last human city of Zion. As the threat of the cloning Smiths and the machines try to take over and the humans try to stop it, the question is "who will win?" The "horrible" ending may surprise you.
There are so many plot points in this movie from the last one that trying to explain it would give numerous headaches (oh yeah, I've also heard people complain about the lack of plot; those people are just hella stupid). The only true beef I had with Revolutions is that it didn't quite tie up every loose end, but it does a good enough job. The element of unpredictability was what made this movie what it is.
The effects are awe-inspiring and the fight sequences are even better. Overall I give this piece of art 3.8 Agent Smiths out of 5.
