Obviously, this one picks up where Volume 1 left off. I have trouble rating which volume was better because, to me, it’s the same movie. And it is. And it should have been, but where the first one cut off and the second begins is perfect; it gives each movie a different feel of sorts.
If I talk too much about this one I’ll spoil it, so here’s a rough summary. The people left on her list are Bud, Elle Driver, and Bill himself. This one also does a lot of going back in time to explain what brought this on, like the wedding day itself. Also her training gets a good look, as does her relationship with Bill (what-they didn’t hate each other the whole time?). The fight scenes are fantastic, the conclusions to the battles fitting and masterful, the soundtrack great as always, it has every raw emotion that can be put into a movie. Anger, sadness, happiness, love, wrath (similar to anger but not quite), determination, will, etc. etc. etc.
Tarantino is a savant when it comes to directing movies. This badboy mahmajahma gets 4.9999 rock salt shots to the boobs out of 5.
