ABOUT ME
I am fourteen years old, and I am going to be a softmore in high school this September (2003). I live with
my seventeen year old brother, my mother, and my father in Anaheim, California. My birthday is coming up this August.
WATER POLO
I started playing water polo last year for school, because I thought I needed a winter sport. I kept doing it because
it's a really great sport and I love it. It's like a mix of soccer and basketball, in the water. You're never touching the
ground, so you need to be able to eggbeat. You also need to eggbeat so that when you try to throw the ball into the goal,
you can get out of the water. You know how in basketball you have to run back and forth, over and over again?
Same thing here, only you're swimming-so you get to use your arms and legs! >:(
MY FRIENDS
My best friends I only met a
year ago, in cross country. I'll start with my sandwich. My friend, who is also named Sarah, is really goofy. She's our
pumpernickel bread. Stephanie's more serious at times but most of the time she's really wacky. She's the salami. Then, I'm
the wonder bread. We have lots of condiments and such to go with our sandwich. My neato softmore(junior) friend, Rebecca,
is the milkshake. She is a really great christian and loves animals more than I do! Then, Yohanna, our pepper, came to us
during track. She's definitely the most quiet of the group, but she's really interesting to have a conversation with.
Sebastian is our funny mustard. Jose and Luis are not very interested in being food, but they are both a part of the group.
MUSIC
I like music a lot. Mostly, I just listen to it, although I'm learning to play the guitar and drums. The
drums are going better than guitar since I have been doing them longer. If anyone can tell me how to do bars on the guitar,
please do. In Jr. High I was in choir, but not any longer. My sandwich and myself, we want to start a band...just like
everybody else I guess, but it would be super fun.
MOVIES
Sarah just recently saw Josie and the Pussycats and she
bought her own soundtrack, too (I have one, but I lost it). That's where she got the idea we should start a
band...I think...I dunno. Sarah? Ooooh! Last night at my softmore buddie's house we saw Newsies! That is such a cool
movie...she might make a copy for me! Oh yeah, my friend Crystal really likes that movie. Her favorite quote is when Spot
goes: "I say that what you say is what I say." :) Hmmmm...movies sure are fun! I have been wanting to get a video camera
because it would be fun. But, instead I think I'll just get my dad to let me 'borrow' the family one.
