Bernard's Farfisa Organ Page

Farfisa made the most remarkable Italian organs in the 60's and 70's; it has been used
on countless hit recordings. "Incense and Peppermints" by the Strawberry Alarm Clock is the first song that comes to my mind.
Farfisa made organs from 1964 to the late 70's. They were combo organs, or organs which are more portable for bands.
In the 1970's the Chicago Musical Instrument Co., who owned the US rights to Farfisa, sold the company to Lear Siegler.
Lear Siegler held onto Farfisa until finally selling the name to Bontempi, who still makes keyboards under the Farfisa name. Today,
the Farfisa company make intercoms.
