Saturday, August 25, 2001 at 7:00 at the Tweeter Center in Massachusetts Godsmack, Deftones, and Reveille played. It was the f*cking best concert to go to last summer. Reveille played first and blew off the top of the place. They got the crowd going with the adreline rush of a life time. Everyone was on their feet singing the songs to the new Boston band at the time. They played at least 10 of their songs then left the stage. Next was Deftones so everyone kinda was already pumped to jump around and were screaming and all. Chino comes on the stage and sings all the classic songs, by Deftones that is. Drinking his Gatorade with vodka, he explains to us that it's the greatest drink in the world. F*cking drunk like he always is he lies on the ground and sings Back To School. That was the last song by them and we find Chino lying on the ground lookin up at the ceiling. He talks about a spider and then starts crackin up. Next is the big one. The band everyone came to see. GODSMACK! The usual thing before Godsmack comes on is "the cartoon". This cartoon has Sully, Robbie, Tony, Tommy, the Bus Driver, Manager, and the Stage Crew. Mostly the cartoon explains what happens behind stage and when they get off from the tour bus. Then they come on. Im pretty sure it was Whatever for the first song. The stage has fire blasting out and there is the huge Tribal Sun in the middle of the stage hanging. Everyone is screaming the lyrics as sully plays the drums. He does his little period where he plays drums and shit for a while. He talks to the crowd for a little and then starts us up again. Sings the whole first album of songs with the mixture of the Awake cd with em. Let's just say if you are a real Godsmack fan you would love to see them LIVE. It's a real show to get you off your feet.
