Hello and welcome to Glencoe Rottweilers. My name is Ron Mcllwraith I run a small kennel in Perth Western Australia. My first Rottweiler was Helsingborg Warlord CD and then with breeding came Ch Glencoe The Duke ,that was the beginning of Glencoe Rottweilers ' Because my first love was the trialling ring, i needed to find a good stud dog that would give me the drive I needed for trialling so I decided to look East, I used Aust Ch Jenecks Quik and a big thankyou will always go to Jo-Ellen Burns from Bernzhunde Rottweilers for all her help. Then I decided to go East and have a look at a Specialty show ,this was the start of something special for me so with a suitcase in one hand and a dog in the other we left for Sydney ,I knew If I was to improve my breeding program for the future this was the way to go, I arrived at the grounds at about 10pm that night pitch black trying to find my caravan and who had the van next to me none other than Di Harrison from Dellahar Rottweilers and the rest is now history' A big thanks must go out to Di as she has helped me achieve my dreams in a much shorter period She is not only a great breeder but a good friend for that I will always be in her debt, thanks Di and a big thankyou also to Renee Harrison handler extraordinar. At the same show I met a lot of fantastic breeders whom I still keep in touch with, you know who you are ha-ha. As Breeders we are the Keepers of the Rottweilers.
