Derek's Review
I have read that Off Broadway could be considered a baby Cheap Trick, and while there are some comparisons, I just think Off Broadway is a good 70s power pop group.

"Stay In Time" is a great pop song and totally 70s. "Bad Indication" sounds like a continuation of the previous song, and that's fine by me. Lead singer Cliff Johnson has a great, smooth AOR voice. "New Little Girl" sounds slightly like the Babys. "Hang On For Love" kind of repeats the same verses throughout the entire song, but that's okay, because damn is it catchy. "You Belong To You" is a bouncy number that gets stuck in your head.

This is a good melodic disc. It's not very diverse in its sound, but it doesn't have to be. This is a great debut album with one outstanding song ("Stay In Time") and quite a few other good ones.

Derek's Picks: Stay In Time, Bad Indication, Hang On For Love
