Although relationships among the group were strained, more successful albums followed for both Nicks and Fleetwood Mac. The first of four solo albums in the 1980s, Bella Donna, which included the hit duet with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," and "Edge of Seventeen (Just Like the White Winged Dove)," was released in 1981 and Nicks' fame threatened to overshadow Fleetwood Mac. Her second solo effort, The Wild Heart, (1983) produced the hit "Stand Back. In 1983, Nick's friend Robyn died of leukemia three days after the birth of her son. Nicks married her widow, Kim Anderson shortly afterwards, apparently believing that the infant needed a mother. However, the marriage lasted only a year and Nicks began having serious problems with alcohol and drugs. She entered the Betty Ford Clinic and eventually overcame her chemical dependency.
