...And justice for all

On AJFA the lyrics were more political than ever. They described different kind of unfearness all over the world. If you've heard the lyrics, you might have understand that James wasn't pleased with the conditions in USA. The ultraconservative president Ronald Reagan were still president in USA. James didn't like him, and critisised him.

AJFA were planned to be something between Garage Days and Master Of Puppets. They wanted the raw power of Garage Days and the magic from Puppets. The final result were something totally different from Garage Days.

Many people meant that Metallica had too long songs, and that they were about to "kill" themselves. The band wouldn't agree that they were making "thinking man's metal". The AJFA songs didn't work live, and the band made a pact that said they should never play ...And justice for all again.

Cliff Burton's last songs were on AJFA.
