Dont forget that to sound truly authentic, you have to slightly alter your word order.
"That's really annoying." becomes, "Really annoying, that is."

Also, all vowels are lengthened, and all consonants are slurred:
"Hey, watch where you're going!" translates to, "Ai, wosh weh yeh're goen!"
The word "luv" is used omnipresently (especially when speaking to a female):
e.g. "Ta, luv!" "What's the matter John luv, blue meanies?"
Note: Although it sounds essentially Beatlish, it is not always politically correct nowadays!

Try speaking it out loud, it doesn't sound half as weird as it looks!

crawler = someone who sucks up to people

cuppa = a cup of tea

drag = a bore, idiot

drag stuff = anything boring

fab = great

fabmost = even greater

fag = cigarette

fed-up = depressed

fug = a smoky, beery atmosphere

frightfully like = very

gear = great, cool, wicked

get on! = as if!

gets on me wick! = (it) really annoys me

giggle = a laugh

gobsmacked = extremely surprised

grotty = grotesque, yucky

jam butties = jam/jelly sandwiches

kickoff, the = the beginning

kip = sleep

kip, a spot of = a short nap

knock it off! = stop it!

larking = mucking around

lug holes = ears

lurking/lurker = hanging around suspiciously

mixer = troublemaker

nice one = thanks

nosh-up, a = a very large meal

potty = stupid, crazy

sag off = to skip school, play hookie

sarnie = sandwich

scouse = Liverpool slang

scouser = a Liverpudlian

shurrup! = belt up!

skint = broke

slipped off = nicked off / disappeared

sod off = "go away"

soft = slightly insane

sound = great

straight up! = it's true!

strokes = mischeivious stunts

swine = an insult!

swelling about the bonce = being conceited

ta = thanks

thick = stupid

thingy = what-cha-ma-call-it

why not be big about it? = make a big deal about it why don't you!

yer nesh = you're a sissy
