Updates: Just in case any of you have emailed me or are planning on emailing me, it's now kapow222@yahoo.com. If you miss the fun-ness of emailing kfunk@music.com, you can blame bigmailbox.com, which has been down for the last few weeks.

January 28, 2003: Where the hell is A Different Drum going? I don't know, but it's still here. I've been concentrating on my webcomic more than this lately. But I'm still here. I'm working on getting a new featured band. And I'll try to still update once a month or so with links and such, and maybe the occasional review.

Well, it's been over a year now. It's hard to believe it's been that long since I sat around with my Garfield notebook thinking up ideas for this very site. And so much has changed in the past year... Further's now Amazing Device, FarmClub is no longer, Kidlyfe's Rokken News has drifted away (but I've just been told it will soon be returning), Hoobustank is now Hoobastank and was on TRL! What a year... Anyway, there's much to look forward to in A Different Drumland this year. I'm thinking....t-shirts. Would anyone buy them? And if I could make a profit from that....possibly my own domain name. Wouldn't that be nice? Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed the site, but there is definately more to come.

If you're in a band and want your band linked, or if you would be willing to do an interview, please get in touch with me! (kapow222@yahoo.com)

Now for the good stuff. A Different Drum. March to it. Listen to it. It's dedicated to the best music I can find, and hopefully you'll like it too. A Different Drum music is not typical. It's not for teeny-boppers (so if you came here looking for pics of "that really hot lead singer," you can leave now). It's new, creative, and original. Hence the name: A Different Drum. We (I mean, uh, I) are (am) dedicated to helping you find out about bands you may not have heard of, and find more about bands you already like.
