The Moving Strings

    The Moving Strings started in July 1961, and in 1962 they placed second at the Romance Contest in Amsterdam (the winners were Rob De Nijs And The Lords). 1963, they won the vocal and instrumental category at the National Talentenjacht in The Hague and received a record contract for 2 singles from Delta Records. They did TV appearances in Holland and Belgium. In 1964, the group disbanded, and Peter Nuyten and Johnny Noce Santoro started The Zipps. The band did a reunion concert in 1981.
