ARON
Aron is, beside one of my closest friends, also my cousin and neighbour! (although he wants to move out soon). I've known him since as long as I can remember. He's always been more like a brother than a cousin to me, we grew up together. Although he doesn't really approve of my switch to metal and industrial, we do share some interests (and taste in music). We both love playing computer games such as Tekken and the older Mortal Kombat. And we also love playing badminton on the street in the summer. The bastard even bought himself an expensive racket now!
And I can always talk to him. I know we will always be friends.

ANJA
I met Anja about 4 years ago and she's just always there when I need her, she's such a sweetheart. I'm lucky to have her live in Groningen now, so we can see eachother more often (she used to live in an other province). We share our love for Marilyn Manson, Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp, haha. And we just love writing weird stories together. Anja's just a dearie and I'm pretty sure she'll always be there & I'll always be there for her aswell :) I'm very happy to say we've agreed upon regular meetings right now. Hadn't been in touch with her for quite a while :| now wednesdays are ours :)

FRANK FRUMAU
Ha, now he's a different story. FrankF is just one of the strangest people I know (hm, I guess all people I know are strange...). I met him through Aron years and years ago and since then the three of us love playing RISK every once in a while. FrankF loves being outside and thinks Aron & I are just lazy bastards who should go out (into nature) more often. I actually agree with him a little bit on that point! FrankF and I don't really share a lot of common interests or music taste but we just get along fine .. at least .. most of the time anyways!! He's very passionate about his hobbie: collecting bicycles! And he loves cycling aswell (even all the way to Norway!)

ROELAND
Roeland I actually met through FrankF! We met last year, somewhere around may I believe. Roeland has been upgraded from stranger to one of my closest friends within a year! Isn't that something. Roeland, like I, loves industrial, gothic and metal. And luckily he has weird humour aswell, like me. (sometimes even too weird, though!) Roeland is someone I can really relate to, I feel we can tell eachother probably anything...Now he's just got himself a new room in Groningen very near to my university, so that rocks!!! He's also the DJ at the gothic party in Groningen: Amsphiskios. And he won 3rd prize in a national music contest with his gothic/metal band Enaqua!! His lovely girl Nienke is staying in Groningen too, now, so I get to see both regularly! yay!

MAURICE
To quote mr. Jansen himself, Freud would have loved him as a client! Oh, definitely! If I'd get even only 5 cents for every unchase remark he's made toward me, I'll be a mulitmilionair by now! Haha! And don't think I'm special and attract this kind of attention or anything, he's just like that. Heehee. Ok, I got to know Maurice via Anja who met him through ICQ!!! And now he's become a very close friend of mine. I really enjoy going to gothic parties with him (he's recently become interested in gothic aswell), like De Inrichting. He also has a wonderful mother! About as sweet as mine :) Although...she likes his perv jokes! AArgh.

JANKE
I met Janke at university! Janke is a really great girl. When she's amongst a lot of people she doesn't say a hell of a lot, but it's *what* she says that counts. (She's quite clever.) One on one, she's pretty talkative though! Although she doesn't have many 'weird' friends, like myself, she's pretty odd herself. In a very cool way :) Too bad she chose a different major :( Janke is quite openminded: she isn't really into gothic or metal, but when I asked her to come to a Morbid Angel concert she said 'yes' right away. She's one of my very best friends. Couldn't imagine life without her anymore.

LOTTE
I haven't been seeing a great deal of this lovely girlie, these days. She has her own life now: she studies, works, has her man, own home...and she wants kids soon too! Yes, and she's only 21! Anyway, Lotte and I go way back. We go about 7 years back. That's when I moved to Den Andel. I met her through Aron actually, he was already living here, but Lotte and I soon became quite close. Somewhere in our friendship there's been an awkward break, when we were fed up with eachother. But all of that passed, and when we picked up where we'd left off, we became even closer. I miss her now. But I know we'll always be friends.

NIENKE
How did I get to know Nienke? Actually I've already known of her quite a long time...FrankF and Aron mentioned her every once in a while, cuz they were all friends. I never got to meet her back then, though. Only when I got to know Roeland [her boy], Nienke and I were introduced ;) Ever since we've been emailing quite regularly and seeing eachother quite regularly too these days [which is always much fun]. It's weird, back in the day when I hadn't met Nienke before, we were both hippiegurlies. And now we both dig goth outfits (& music)!! She always looks gorgeous in her outfits :)

ANDREW
Andrew is my god-brother. For the people who don't know what that is, remember fairytales like Cinderella? She had this fairy godmother, right? Well, Andrews mom is my godmother, so that makes him my godbrother! See?!
Anyways, last year I went to visit him with my boyfriend-at-the-time, in Scotland. (Yes, Andrew's from Scotland). We hadn't seen eachother for about 18 years :o So that was pretty much like  meeting one another for the first time (we had been emailing for a year or so, though). Anyway, last summerholidays Andrew came to spend a week at my place, which was incredibly cool!! I really feel he's my brother now. Oh, and he introduced me to Books of Magic  - for which I'll always be grateful ;-)

REMCO/REM
I got to know him through Niels.. Rem, like Niels, likes all of the 'right stuff'. Including our big hero Marilyn Manson! If possible, he's even a bigger fan than I am ;) But anyway, Rem is a wonderful artist and hopefully he'll get into art school as soon as he graduates! I'm already a big fan :) He's also a very sweet guy - he was even upgraded to My Twin Brother!!! (that's a weird story...don't ask)
HE introduced me to FINAL FANTASY VIII (and now I borrowed final fantasy IX from him) which is SO cool...(thanks rem!!!) and both of us really love animé style drawing...let's keep it up, rem...oh and i finally met his plant 'Klaus'! Klaus is such a sweetie!

TIM
I met Tim on a gothic festival aswell. I went over to him to compliment him on his Marilyn Manson t-shirt and from that moment we've been keeping in touch & became mates :) He lives at the other side of the country, so I don't see him that often :( But ofcourse there's always the phone :) Tim's a very nice & sweet guy (yet another one! aren't my friends the greatest! hehe). We've made it a habit to exchange copied CDs almost every time we see one another. Tim always makes a nice piece of art on the cover, most of the time I didn't have time to do that :( But yesterday I had, so I spent an hour (!) drawing a nice little cover for him :)
 

MATTIJS
I got to know Mattijs through his darling Anja. In the beginning it was all quite complicated (guess it still is), since he used to be one of Maurices best mates but they ended their friendship over Anja (long story)...and I knew Maurice first, so there's the loyalty issue! But there is no point in denying I've grown quite fond of Mattijs and I hope I can be friends with both of them without hurting anyone. Mattijs is just perfect for Anja, I hope they'll be a couple forever! Mattijs and I have this 'special' ritual which I really love, which is the following. Every once in a while, I yell out 'Mattijs!' each time in a different tone of voice and he'll reply 'Morna!' in quite the same tone..Sometimes this goes on for a minute or so! Haha, it's so much fun! (Mattijs, if you read this: MATTIJS!)

MARK
I met mark through Anja and Mattijs. He's - like he states himself - quite a weird person ;) He's yet another one of my friends who supposedly has some 'alter egos' ;) He is into gothic aswell and recently we took him to Amsterdam and got him a goth outfit, which he is quite happy with. We (Anja & I) also introduced him to writing 'folding stories' (you know, those stories where you write 3 lines, then cover the first 2 and pass it on to the next person until you have a really silly cool story!) which was quite the success!

GERALD
I met Gerald through Anja too. She has a lot of great friends. Gerald is a close mate of Marks also. It's a very nice bunch :) Gerald is a very sweet guy and I'm very glad I got to know him (& still am). He's, like Mark and Anja, also into vampire tabletop and I'm now actually considering joining in. I'd never expected me to do that ;) But I guess the time has finally come ;) Let the bloodfest commence! LOL. Anyway, Gerald just moved to Groningen a little while back which is pretty cool. And he loves NIN, like me. And some other metal bands I don't like so I won't start on that ;) To wrap it up; he's a very precious person!

WARMOLD
Actually, I met Warmold through my ex-fiancé (who lives 210km away)! Whereas Warmold lives practically around the corner! Totally weird, but very cool. I kindof adopted Warmold as my little brother :) He wasn't too happy about the 'little' at first (he's very tall, but still, 'only' 16 and very sweet + teasy like a little brother ought to be. lol) but I think he's kindof accepted it by now :D Warmold likes a lot of cool things too, like final fantasy, manga, roleplaying, industrial music etc. He's also joining in the Vampire roleplaying so it's going to be much fun! yay!

ALICE
Alice and I got to know eachother 2 years back. But then there was a little gap and just quite recently, a couple of months ago, we got our friendship back on track, which we're both very happy about! I believe we're much closer than we ever were & having lotsa fun. Wouldn't miss her for anything in the world anymore. The crazy girlie got herself a mohawk now, it looks damn cool on her! She also loves drawing & writing and is quite good at it. She goes to the same grammar school I used to go too, which is also pretty funny. And she'll probably also join in the Vampire roleplay :) Woohoo!

BORIS
Boris is actually the (little) brother of a former friend of mine. I only started going over to his place a couple of months ago. Quite odd, since he lives around the corner & has many similar interests! But I'm happy I did cuz we're becoming quite good mates. He and Alice hooked up a couple of weeks ago, and they're soooo in luv, which is really cool :D Boris loves stuff like Portishead, manga, cigs, parties, drawing, faeries, plants, and much more cool stuff :) Too bad he has to work almost daily now :( Sob.
