Raven Is Charmed By Goo!

Hi, my name is Raven and I am 13 years old. The first time I heard the Goos was in February of 2001. I saw a rerun of the TV show "Charmed" (which is my fav show) and the show had the Goo Goo Dolls on it. The first song I ever heard of thiers was "Broadway". I loved that song, it was awsome. So we were at Wal-mart and my mom said"No, you can't get that CD, (Dizzy Up The Girl). I don't know this band or what htey sing. No." So one day I went to my aunt's house to hang out and she said that we could go shopping. So we went to Media Play and I bought "Dizzy Up The Girl". I thought "My mom will be mad, but it will harder for her to say no if I already have the CD in the house, and now we have to take it back." So she said, Ok, you can keep it. All I really listened to were "Broadway" and "January Friend". Then I bought Superstar Carwash, What I learned..., A Boy Named Goo, Hold Me Up, Jed, and First release. I had all the CD's but I was not like "OBSESSED, OBSESSED". Then on April 1, 2002 my uncle died of an overdose of drugs and alcohol. I was so sad and scared. My family now only had 10 people in it and only 3 guys. Then on April 9, 2002 (the day Gutterflower came out) my cousin was killed in a car wreck. I started to listen to the song "Iris" over and over. I loved the line "And I don't want the world to see me, cuz I don't think that they'd understand. When everything is made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am". It sounded like my uncle his whole life. I felt so sad and then I relized that a lot of the Goos songs made me feel better because they had meaning. Now I am like TOTALLY OBSESSED. Not like stalker obsessed, but definalty obbsessed. LOL. My fav song is either "On Your Side" (from Hold Me Up), or "Slide". My favorite video is "Name", and fav album would have to be "Dizzy Up The Girl", becuase the songs are so deep. I guess the reason I like them so much is because they are all so nice. I mean super sweet and not conceited. Robby does not really care about having a single, although I wish "You never Know" would be one, but who knows. I guess that's all. Thanks for listening.

(Thank you so much Raven!)
