John Baldwin’s recently unveiled 'Wide Alive and Dreaming' has got to be one of this year’s highlights for guitar-solo enthusiasts. Recorded and mixed in Virginia Beach, the disc’s 17 tracks, all written by Baldwin, display a range of styles and finesse reminiscent of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eddie Van Halen.
