TheGrumpy provides original music with a few choice covers remixed and mixed-in. The band has a consistent draw and media support through radio, internet and television. TheGrumpy generally books shows a minimum of 3 weeks in advance. Promotion begins for upcoming events as early as the day the contract is signed for the event. TheGrumpy is happy to play anywhere in the world, however travel expenses must be negotiated for shows outside of California.

TheGrumpy has developed a reputation for professionalism and can be expected to arrive on-time or early for soundcheck. Many sound engineers have complimented the group on being easy and fast to work with. Total load in and set-up time for TheGrumpy is quick and simple. The group takes pride in making music the focal point for the night and not lose a crowd's attention with long downtime/turn-over. Up to two 45 minute sets, or one 1:45 set are ready for performance. TheGrumpy prefers to perform in venues by written agreement. Reputable venues and promoters generally do not have any issues in this department. TheGrumpy and Savage Ear Ent. will use all marketing tools at their disposal to promote any event that is mutually agreed upon by the venue and Savage Ear Ent. in writing. Venues that do not enter into an agreement on paper will be solely responsible for promotion of the event and take sole and complete liability for any situations, costs, losses or other issues that may arise before, during or after the event.
