People Who Have Screwed Me Without My Permission PEOPLE WHO HAVE SCREWED ME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION

IN COLLEGE:

~  Jim, my best friend's boyfriend - while she slept on the couch 2 feet away. When I woke up, I shoved him away, fixed my swimsuit and ran to the bathroom - where I locked myself until he left. He's not her boyfriend anymore.

~  The crack-head who kicked in my door and stole my VCR.

IN LAS VEGAS:

~  The now defunct (hmmm...wonder why) Moonstruck Gallery. My creativity and my craftsmanship helped win a national award and much recognition for them, but not until after they took my name off of the entry and put someone elses on, just because they could. Boy, honesty and integrity sure don't cost much these days.

THIS YEAR:

~  B & D Automotive Enterprises, Inc. in Fayetteville, Georgia. Don't believe them when they claim "Automotive Excellence". I paid them to install an oil pressure switch and they broke my air conditioner. Both times I took it back, they claimed to have fixed it. It hasn't blown cold since February. And of course, they accused me of lying and "tampering" with it myself. Yeah, right. If I knew how to fix my own car...why would I have brought it in?

~  The State of Georgia and/or The United States Postal Service. When you mail your tax forms, be sure and hand them directly to a person and watch them closely until you witness the postmark date get stamped on the envelope. Because if you just drop them in the box in the parking lot a week ahead of time, you have no proof of it and they get to charge you (pretty much at whim) a huge fine plus interest that accrues during the entire time they are not notifying you that there is a problem. Also, be aware that if the USPS loses a package or letter or a stamp machine takes your money - it's just too bad. Oh, but they're sorry.

~  A Brown-nosed go-getter who shall remain nameless. Beware of short people in newly created positions of authority...they all have something to prove and someone to prove it to. And they don't mind stepping on innocent people to do it. Especially if it gets their boss to notice that they are helping to inconvenience an enemy. The moral of this story: Even if you mind your own business and keep your own nose clean, you can still be used as a pawn in other people's power games. P.S. - If anyone knows of a country where common sense is part of the political process, please e-mail me and I will move there.

~  George W. Bush- and I've never even met him.
