Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade are not your typical good ol’ boys. Decked out in top dollar embroidered cowboy shirts and limited edition sequined jeans the handsome Lance Cade is a smooth talking southerner known for boasting about his intentions and then delivering on the goods.

And then there’s Trevor Murdoch – Waxahachie’s most notorious son. A stark contrast to the refined southern gentleman Lance Cade, Murdoch prefers beat up jeans, cut off shirts and violent outbursts. Considered the “Black Ace” in some circles, the roughhouse Murdoch is a surly, short-tempered and violent southern brawler known for spitting tobacco anywhere he pleases.

In their debut on RAW in early September 2005 they made impact by defeating the World Tag Team Champions, Hurricane and Rosey in a non title match. A few days later, Cade & Murdoch won the World Tag Team Championship at Unforgiven.
