on a fishing trip of the coast of florida two brothers were fishing in a small fishing boat when a great fog came from out of no where before the fog came on them there were no other boats to be seen in any direction with no clouds to be seen in the sky it was mid day. as this fog formed the water became still as glass they could here chains clanging and people talking. children and sailers talking old style sailing lingo, they could not see past the end of the boat, being pretty spooked they decided they better try to get back to land,it was foolish but they had not brought a compass the younger brother being the pilot headed in the direction he thought was toward land the sun was not visible so dead reckoning was not possible. they had enough fuel to go about 60 miles they were underway about 30 minutes and the fog just vannished the waves were back so was the sun. there was still no land in sight after about an hour there was just a little green off in the distance to there joy it was land as they was getting closer all the landmarks were strange nothing looked right where were they as they got closer to the bouy markers the numbers were different they followed the markers in to a fish camp they had never seen before after docking they went in the bait shop and asked where they were and found they were 140 miles north of there port from where they had started not having fuel to go that far how did they get there. totaly unexplainible was it the triangle UNEXPLAINED. d.r florida
