in northern florida it was what they call roasting ear time which means that the field corn was young and tender enough to cook and eat on the cob. a young father and his third son was driving in the country and saw a good field of corn just about right for roasting ears so they stoped and was gonna get about a dozen ears to take home to the rest of the family. as they went in to the field the ears were not quite full yet so thay walked deaper in the field, on the back side of the field was a big woods the boy told his father he felt like somone was watching them and the father said he felt it to. then came a strong smell realy strong. by that time they found some corn that was just about right when one of them noticed someone or something standing in the edge of the woods it was hugh just watching them they were shocked it was about 8 ft. tall and it was realy hairy it made no moves toward them but they were realy scared so they dropped the corn and beat it back to there car. on the way home they talked it over should they tell anybody what they saw. shurely no one would believe them. what was it? another UNEXPLAINED v.s florida
