A Black Creek Raceway Interview

In a Pre-Race interview with Rust we asked him what he thought of Black Creek Raceway “ Well I have never raced here before but in the few test laps we ran here this morning we started out slow and gradually picked up the pace. I don’t think we are at a completive speed as of yet , but I’m sure my crew will get the car up to speed.” Rust said.

Then I asked him what it was like to be back on the FHL circuit again…” Well I will tell ya..they are a great bunch of men to be runnin with . I trust then with my life on the track…they run hard…but they run clean. When I was runnin in the other divisions (league) I had to close my eyes on every turn thinking this is going to be the one to throw me out of this race. In the FHL I know if a faster car is runnin behind me he will be patient and pass me when he can make a clean pass. Of course if I realize that he is there I will let him by. “

I have been watching some of the times that the guys are pulling off at this track and I can see it is going to be an interesting race. These guys are fast and I can now see I am still a little bit rusty. Our team is getting it together though and we soon hope to be completive. I would like nothing more than to be one of the guys up front fighting for the lead with some of the greats from the FHL like Nascarfk…Gotspeed and Ron just to name a few. Well I would love to stay and talk but we have a car to prepare if we want it to run up front here at Black Creek, so I will get back to work.

Well there you have it folks…it seems that Rust has the determination, But can he find his groove to run with the rest of this field here at the Black Creek Raceway. Check back again later and we will see if we can get a word from some of the other Drivers and see how they are doing here at Black Creek Raceway.
