Jim Davis Blues Benefit
PHOTO GALLERY

The Jim Davis Blues Benefit was a memorable evening of community at the Dakota Creek Roadhouse in Blaine WA on Sunday, November 17th, 2002. Northwest blues musicians and fans from Whatcom, Skagit and King counties gathered for a greater purpose and accomplished alot of fundraising. Early Sunday Blues Jam regulars and guests put on a tremendous show onstage. You can read about the show on Angelfire's Jim Davis Blues Benefit page. Numerous photos were shot by NOONA (all photos used with permission, copyright 11-17-02), some of the best are included here.

KURT really rocked on harmonica on several different sets. He also offered his amp and bullet mic to Skagit harpist Steve Stolpe to use later on in the evening on a set with Jim Davis. Thanks Kurt! (photo by NOONA c.11-17-02, used with permission)

Here's a rare photo moment with WEDGE MICHAELS leading the band center stage, instead of back off the drum kit. Wedge is a hip northwest veteran of lots of bands including those Dynamic Logs, The Wailers, Evans John Band, Hambone Wilson Band, Rogue Paradise Blues and more!
