Who are GROOVMEKANEX?

A Bay Area dance group (with some roots in the Washington DC area) known
for their versatility in the different styles related to FUNK! Specializing in
CAMPBELLOCKING,
STRUTTING,
POPPING,
but also well versed in HOUSE and HIP HOP dance styles
including many other means of getting down!
We have performed at various venues and shows throughout San Francisco, Oakland, Bay Area, down to Hollywood, Ca. and elsewhere.
Our focus is to spread the joy that comes with dancing and keep the funkiest of these styles alive through our performances and through teaching. Our dance members have a long history with these styles of dances and truly enjoy and love doing them.
