Du Page County Highway 9 is a north-south highway running from Downers Grove to near Lemont. This highway is in four sections. The frist is along Highland Avenue from Illinois State Route 56 to 39th Street. Then along 39th Street to U.S. Rt. 34 on Main Street in Downers Grove. It runs again along Main Street in Downers Grove from 55th Street to Valley View Drive. The last sections is along Lemont Road from Valley View Drive to the Du Page/Cook County Line.
