SB Rt. 66 at Dirksen Parkway. Rt. 66 comes into Springfield from Sherman on Peoria Road. As Peoria Road approches Dirksen Parkway, it curves to the west for the intersection with the parkway.

Just north of Clear Lake Ave. this sight was spoted. It is the only sign that this was a portion of Rt. 66.

This is the southern end of Dirksen Parkway. "By-Pass 66" turns right on Stevenson Drive. Interstate 55/72; U.S. Rt. 36 is just to the left of this intersection.

This is the western most point on Stevenson Drive. It is a stop-light controled intersection with 6th Street. Here, Rt. 66 joined back up with the 1930-40 alignment to head to St. Louis.
