1 Narshakhi, Abubakr Muhammad Ibn-i Ja'far-i Bukhari (889-959) wrote in Arabic. His major work is Ta'rikh-i Bukhara or Ta'rikh-i Narshakhi, which was written in Amir Hamid Abu Muhammad Nuh Ibn-i Nasr-i Samani. Narshakhi's work has been edited and published several times. For further details see Dihkhuda's Lughatname, Letter N, Fascicule 3, 1965 (ed.).1
